There have been many changes and agility in business is the key. Staff attraction is certainly up there as one the biggest issues in business 2022. While there are less people to choose from your ability to interview those that have applied is essential to your success. Our strategy is to first determine the behaviour type required for the role.
Recruiting the right person
Some roles need the behaviour to be more analytical and have an emphasis on perfection. While other roles require more personality and people connection. Once you have reviewed the job description and determined the best behaviour fit, then you commence your interview by having some prepared questions that will help you to determine the behaviour style or preference of the interviewee.
Does the behaviour of the interviewee match that of the role, if yes, then proceed to the next stage in your interview. Next stage of your interview is to determine the values alignment between your company and that of the interviewee, proceed if you feel there is alignment. Finally, you interview for competency skills and knowledge what can they bring to the role.

So, while high up in the priorities of a business is recruitment the next is making sure your staff are managing staff well this really impacts retention. Staff talk with their feet and when they feel they are not valued or have poor communication with their manager you will lose them. Oh, and the other thing is your business needs to be managed well.
