Sometimes what is not said can be as damaging as what is said.
Sounds like a riddle? Well, yes, not only do Words have Power, what we don’t say can be just as damming or uplifting.
Workplace Conversations happen every day, every hour and every minute. Most occupations rely on some communication to direct, support, validate and control the output of what we do.
We hear from our business clients that some conversations in the workplace are either avoided, aggressive or sarcastic. All of which can lead to greater problems such as bullying and breaching of natural justice. The impact can be the loss of self-esteem, poor productivity, unnecessary stress which can lead to lost time from work and sickness.
Conversations in the workplace are essential to productivity and motivation. This workshop is designed to give you tips, techniques and reflection of how words can be the swords that secure rather than destroy workplace harmony.
This workshop will guide you to:
- Appreciate the value and purpose of respectful workplace conversations
- Learn the different communication skills available to support good communication and positive change in the workplace
- Identify when and where to have tough workplace conversations to be more effective
